“ Nice little spot. I really enjoyed their Carolina Gold with Blue cheese wings and the smoked Mac and Cheese. I had visited the week prior with my oldest brother and decided to head back with the wife. Can't wait to visit in the summer and catch a walk after. Located in a nice spot for a date night. ”
“ We loved this place!! The bartender/waitress Jess was super nice and accommodating, the drinks were made really well and the food was AMAZING! I got the whiskey BBQ chicken sandwich, my in laws got chicken wings and my partner got the mac n cheese bowl with chicken. Their BBQ and blue and gold sauces were absolutely delicious, we were all blown away by how good the dishes were. My father in law said the wings were the best he's ever had in his life, and we're from Buffalo! I'm so glad we stopped in for lunch, we'll definitely be back. ”
“ Awesome party room upstairs. Great, attentive staff. Full bar. Beautifully designed. Update: best fish fry I've ever had! The batter is seasoned in such a way that I find myself hardly using tartar sauce! MORE Updates! Still going here almost every Friday I can, still snappin' pics and LOVING the fish fry here. In addition to fish frys, their blue and gold wings are over the top! ”

“ We stopped in on a whim today and loved it! My husband and I had the Signature Blue and Gold Wings which are dry rub & smoked finished in blue & gold sauce topped with crumbled blue cheese, Comes with celery & blue cheese. These wings were different but amazing. I don't like super spicy wings, which these weren't but were amazingly delicious! My son had the mac and cheese bowl and loved it too. Will definitely be back for some more of those wings! ”
“ Was busy when we came in but it was 6 on a Saturday night. The wait was less than 10 minutes and we had a seat at the bar. The food was absolutely excellent! We got the blue and gold smoked wings which were unbelievably juicy and tasted awesome! The whiskey selection was vast and the cost was low. I ordered a relatively top end bourbon neat and it was 6.50! That is unheard of and definitely I'll be back just for that. The crowd was upbeat the music was appropriately volume, and the TVs were jamming sports. They offer plenty of healthy and gluten-free items in the menu and the costs are average for the Rochester area. Lower in some cases. The downside to the restaurant is the area has minimal parking. However 5 minute walk from there has more than ample parking spaces and lots. You will not be disappointed with whiskey river! Give them a chance. Enjoy the food and flair, and bring buisness back to this area of the city! ”
“ The manager Dave was so nice when we inquired about an outdoor table in the area where the band was playing. He said we don't do reservations unless it's a big party but I explained my husband and I both use canes and needed to be sure we had a place to sit and he said he would be sure we had a seat. Our son was in the band that was playing that afternoon. So when we got there, there was a table that said reserved and a note that said "Band parents"!.Loved it! Then he came over to say hello when he saw us there. That's great customer service! We had great seats, great food , great music and a fun afternoon! ”
